Institution for occupational safety & health

Founded in 1945, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is Europe's leading body for individuals with a professional involvement in occupational safety and health. A non-profit making organisation, IOSH represents well over 25,000 individual members working across the full spectrum of industry and commerce - from multinational giants to small consultancies.

IOSH is committed to promoting protection from workplace hazards at every level. A nationwide network of over seven hundred course providers delivers IOSH's accredited health and safety courses.

These courses may be run in-house, via open learning or in conjunction with an external trainer. Founded on best practice, rather than legislation, the courses can be delivered anywhere around the world. Some training we can provide is below:

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • IOSH Working Safely
  • IOSH Supervising Safely
  • IOSH Manual Handling Instructors & Assessors Course

An IOSH certificate will be awarded to all those who attend the course's and successfully complete the written and practical assessments which form part of the training.
